Office of Undergraduate Admissions

The Office of Undergraduate Admission announces that it has extended its fall semester transfer deadline (from July 1 to July 25) to fully eligible transfer students. Interested students are encouraged to submit their completed appplication and all supporting documents while seats are still available in this fall's transfer class. The new deadline allows for students to complete and submit coursework taken the Summer I semester by Friday, July 25, 2008. For more information on how to apply, please visit our Transfer page.

 Texas State was named a Best Western College for 2008 by the Princeton Review. The 2008 edition ranks 123 colleges in the Western region. The rankings are based on student surveys in the categories of campus political leanings, race/class relations and social scene among others. Read more. 

 For the third consecutive year, Texas State was ranked in the top tier of master's universities in the Western Region according to the U.S. News and World Report. Texas State is tied for 12th in the rankings and is the only Texas public institution to make the top tier in its group. Read more.
