PASS Requirements

PASS: 4 Steps to Academic Success

First semester Applied Arts Probation Students must complete the following requirements in order to have your probation hold removed:

1. Complete the online Student Opportunity for Success Session (SOS) and quiz found HERE

(After watching the online SOS presentation you will be prompted to complete the SOS Quiz.)

2. Schedule an advising appointment with your academic advisor. Appointments can be made online HERE or by calling 512-245-1490.

3. Complete the online PASS I online assignment found HERE

You will be emailed an excel document after you have completed the online assignment. You will then need to upload the assignment via the PASS TRACS site (under assignments in TRACS).

4. Once you have completed the 3 tasks listed above you will submit all required items via the PASS TRACS site under assignments.

Your probation hold will be released within 24 hours of the Advising Center 's receipt and verification of your PASS Assignment Log (Monday-Friday).

If you choose not to complete the PASS Program the College of Applied Arts Academic Advising Center WILL NOT remove your probation advising hold until late registration.

PASS Program Opens- September 12, 2018

PASS Priority Due Date: October 19, 2018

PASS Submissions Accepted until: December 6, 2018 @ 5:00pm

PASS II

Students on their second consecutive semester of academic probation must complete the following requirements in order to have your probation hold removed:

1.Schedule an advising appointment with your academic advisor. Appointments can be made online HERE or by calling 512-245-1490

2. Complete the online PASS II assignment HERE

(once you have completed the online PASS II assignment you will be emailed an excel document you must submit via the PASS II TRACS site)

3. Once you have met with your academic advisor and completed and submitted via TRACS the PASS II online assignment your academic probation hold will be removed. We will be unable to remove your probation advising hold until the PASS II Program has been completed. If you choose not to complete the PASS Program, your academic probation hold will not be removed until late registration.
