Elizabeth (Lisa) Ramos is the advisor for Family and Consumer Science majors.  She has been with the office three years and with Texas State for seven years. Lisa earned her BESS in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State and is currently working towards her Masters degree, in  Child Development, here at Texas State. You can find her in FCS 101.

Ricardo Mendez is the administrative assistant in the advising center (AG 201).  He has been with the office for one year and is in the process of finishing his degree in CIS. 

Linda Muth is the advisor for Occupational Education majors.  She received her B.A. from Lamar University, a M.S. from Michigan State University and a M.Ed. from Wayland Baptist University.  She is certified to teach secondary English and history but her experience has been in math and science.  She is a retired Air Force Officer.  She has been an academic advisor for 11 years before coming to Texas State University in December of 2006.  You can find her in Pedernales (PED) 102.

Rebecca B. Swindal is the Director of the Applied Arts Advising Center and Academic Advisor II. She has been our director for the past five years, and has been at Texas State for a total of 12 years. Becky earned her BA in Mass Communications/English Education from University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, and her MS in Administration from Columbus State University; Columbus, GA. Becky is located in AG 201.
